Trance workshop at East West Bookstore
If you know anyone in the South San Francisco Bay area who is interested in trance work–
On Thursday evening, June 4th, from 7:30-9:30 p.m., I will be presenting
a workshop on trance at the East West Bookstore in Mountain View.
This will be a live introduction to the skills covered in Trance-Portation.
For anyone interested in learning how to move into altered states in a controlled,
safe and effective way, the workshop will be an opportunity to try it out with
some backup. This would be especially good for anyone who wasn’t able to get into the trance class, but would like to work with the book.
Those with more experience are welcome to share techniques. If you are in the trance class, you can come and kibbitz.
The address is 324 Castro St., Mountain View CA 94041, and their phone
number is 800-909-6161 if you have any questions. The event is free.
I’ll look forward to seeing some of you there.

Did you want shills/company as well as interested newbies?
I can advertise too, of course, but I wasn’t sure if you wanted to make extra sure there’s plenty of room for folks who haven’t gone through your course already, or what?

Yes, she’s interested in shills, or was yesterday when I mentioned this.

After all, if she’s horribly awfully TERRIBLY swamped with interested persons, the overflow old hands can go down to the Other Book Store.

I’ll see if I can rope Mom into it, for that matter.
And yeah, we can go to the other bookstores, or even just go shopping (overtly! and maybe even buy things, just to encourage them…) in the *same* bookstore, since I rather expect she’ll be in the back room, not out in the store area.

I love Diane Duane’s books and am trying to get a copy of all of them for my girls(aged 10 and 12) I read them the first book(The only one out library had)
One other “magic” series I found I liked- The Faire Folk Trilogy by Gillian Summers.
